Tips For Using A Charcoal Grill

Kitchen cooking can be boring sometimes. Charcoal grilling is a practical and simple alternative for your cooking needs. A lot of dish is best and enjoyed most when grilled. However, even a simple grilling procedure needs attention to details and a little expertise so the meat don’t end up getting charred on the outside and uncooked on the inside. A few simple tips in using your charcoal grill will be helpful.

First, always use your charcoal grill outdoors because it produces soot and fumes. Fumes are by-product carbon and can be harmful once inhaled.  It should also be away from anything that may catch fire. Manipulating and use of fire even in cooking can be dangerous. It should also be away from any flammable solvents or structures.  Before using, inspect the functionality and completeness of your grill and ensure that it fits together perfectly. You don’t want to troubleshoot your charcoal grill in the middle of your grilling.

You then arrange your charcoal strategically, preferably on a pyramid form. You may use a lighter fluid or a newspaper as a fire catalyst. Use of gasoline or kerosene to start fire may cause unusually big flames and should be avoided. Place the crumpled newspaper underneath your charcoal and ignite this using a matchstick or a barbecue lighter. Wait for the flame to die and fix your coal in such a way that they are single layer.  Check if you are ready to use your grill, the briquettes should be reddish-rusty glow at night and ashy white during day. Once you have this ready, you may now start grilling.

Remember, charcoal grilling has to be done safely and perfectly. Use a charcoal grill along with other grilling tools to facilitate you in your cooking. Whether you are grilling barbecue, hot dog, steak, chicken, or roast, cook them on a charcoal grill and enjoy your meal.
